My oldest friend on the planet, Jessica, has always had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. I have said this since I first met her, when she was wearing a Beauty and the Beast bathing suit that obviously attracted my attention, at age 7. Her eyes are huge and changing shades of teal blue/green (a color I've never seen elsewhere), with bright yellow streaks seemingly exploding from around the pupils.
So when Jesse was pregnant with her first child last year, I prayed and hoped every time I would think of her, that this new baby would have her eyes.
She does.
