South Pacific was one of the first musicals I saw with my grandmother. Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel in "The Little Mermaid") played Nellie and although SP is not a favorite musical of mine, this song is haunting. Now if only Ezio could have time-travelled and sang this in the production I saw...
