For most people who know me, you will find, within about the first hour of initial conversation, that I love the Bronte's. I collect Jane Eyres and more enthusiastically and specifically, Wuthering Heights. I have old copies, new copies, antique copies-- I collect all types.
The other day I stumbled across a new set of classics illustrated by graphic artist Rueben Toledo. I love them. The image of Heathcliff on the back cover is my personal favorite. I wish it was the on the cover.
The Penguin Classics Deluxe Editions are fantastic. The paper quality, the binding, the covers, the rough paper edges, the font...perfect.
