if/when you read Orthodoxy --- or Either/Or, let me know, and i'll start. Either /Or i've begun - but i'm not done yet. Next year you must read Zarathustra babY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh it is a given that I am reading Zarathustra, love. I just forgot to put it on there. I cannot wait.
ReplyDeleteI haven't finished Orthodoxy, but it's great.
ReplyDeleteIf you like Everything is Illuminated (the movie is fantastic), you'll LOVE his book Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It's one of my favorites.
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is one of probably my top 5 fav. books of all time. It's beyond words. That's why I am so excited to read Illuminated! I saw the movie a few years ago...I need to re-watch.
ReplyDeleteExcellent list! I'll make us tea and crumpets, and we'll discuss A Room of One's Own as soon as I get back!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a delightfully magnificent evening, Nellie my dear. I can't wait!
