They are such good people. Buy your shirt today!

Spartacus is the definition of a breed ambassador. He loves people and animals, wiggling his tail (and entire body) at anyone that crosses his path. He can often be found sleeping under the bar at his owner's favorite drinking establishment. Of course that's when he's not being petted by his admirers. This t-shirt immortalizes his "melon head' with a giant photo-inspired image. In small text snaking up the side of his head it reads "don't hate me because I'm beautiful"

Oprah spoke at Harvard's graduation this year and everyone got BEES!

President Faust's speech was insanely wonderful, but Oprah. OPRAH.
Although you can't see her in the video, she is so freaking beautiful. No, seriously.

Then this picture was taken on the walk home in Harvard Square.

Anime Boston 2013

Kelsey looked so rad as Batgirl we couldn't go more than five steps without someone asking her to take photos with them.
Wally's Red Hood was great, too -- people just kept referring to him as Spiderman. #wiseup

I was a half-assed Catwoman/House Griffyndor.

I hung out with Jon Snow (who was followed around by a gaggle of women the ENTIRE day)

and Marshall Lee from "Adventure Time"

among many other characters done marvelously well by people who clearly have months of their lives to devote to cosplay.  Some were so elaborate it was breathtaking.
I can't even imagine the amount of role playing that went on in those hotels rooms over the weekend.

It was a perfect two days.

Brooklyn for a day

So... I went to visit my friend Coleman in NYC a week ago and it was a grand ole time listening to incredible music, hanging out with incredible people, and obviously, eating lots of incredible pizza.

Cool fact: unbeknownst until recently, I saw Coleman play the violin at the opening ceremonies for the Bass Hall Opera House in Fort Worth when I was 12 and he was 13.  Can you say small world?

Listen to him fiddle his heart out here:

Boston Pride 2013 "I'm here! I'm queer! Now I'm over here!"

(Me trying to be as fabulous as this man and utterly failing.)
